After a few class meetings devoted to working on our mural and the final projects that accompany it, we've made significant progress!

On April 30 and May 2, our class met in the Watson hallway to have a "work party." Our hog farming panel and our panel depicting the environmental justice history of indigenous peoples in North Carolina saw incredible progress. Scroll down to see members of our class hard at work on these panels!
Students involved in projects other than painting the mural also made progress. Charlie and Cole M. filmed a number of interviews for their film short, Lorena wrote more beautiful poetry, and Ben continued creating his musical piece!
The work didn't stop in class... some students put in late-night hours, too!

After all of our hard work throughout the past couple of days, the completion of the mural is within reach and the additional projects are all in the development process. Take a look below to see where our mural is at now!
