But what's done is done.

Did ya watch this today? Did it make you want to vomit?

Moments after waking up, Julie texted me asking if I wanted to meet up to work on our final paper soon. Too embarrassed to say I had just woken up and was still getting accustomed to the light of day, I agreed. I'm actually so glad I did because we were very productive and it's nice to not have to worry about that paper for the rest of the weekend!

For the next couple of hours I worked. I finished an entire subject of homework so that was swag. I also made myself a little sandwich for lunch and it was very ugly but very tasty. It's what's on the inside, folks.

My momma facetimed me so that I could watch the CNN coverage of the Kavanaugh case. I'm DISGUSTED by our government. Democrat or Republican, it doesn't matter. The fact that we can't have the slightest attempt at bipartisanship (or justice or fairness or honesty) is so sad. Flake tried to fight for it at least... but look how things ended up.

Another interruption from homework was running with Cassandra around 6:00pm. I had to leave to go see a play for class around 8:30pm so Clarisa kindly prepared my dinner ahead of time. I headed to the bus stop with my friend Hannah after dinner to get to the play.

The bus stops here are not labeled in a clear or uniform way at all. Sometimes the sign with the bus number is posted on a tree, sometimes a random poll (like this one), and sometimes there's nice big clear signs. I was just happy I navigated to and from the play without getting lost!! Big accomplishment for a little girl in a big city.

They play was very very interesting and thought-provoking. There was a scene where one of the male actors was completely naked. Uncomfy. It was hard to understand, not because of the Spanish, but because of the very complex plot. It's called Cronología de las bestias and I highly recommend it. It gave off semi-psychological thriller vibes. We talked to one of the actors after the show (middle pic above) and he was pretty cool and he was rolling his own cigarette while we spoke to him. A true talent.

When I got home, I had received messages from 2 girls on my team at Davidson both including pictures of the same girl who they claimed looked just like me... and they weren't wrong. I have never seen someone tan parecida a me. Let me know if you agree. Kind of freaked me out. But I thought she was cute so if I look like that then sweet lol. We facetimed and I didn't see it as much, but in these photos... wowza!

Mini me.

Now it is somehow already almost 1:00am, so I am going to get in my jammies and go to sleep! But probably watch a few food videos first. Can't help it, it's an addiction. Descansen, todos.

Song Recommendation of the Day: "All Of Me" by Big Gigantic ft. Logic & Rozes

P.S. - Please enjoy my mom's commentary during the Kavanaugh coverage.

*Lindsey Graham on the screen*

"God he's like 5'2" he's so short." - Sue

*Chuck Grassley declares the hearing over*

"Please have a heart attack." - Sue

*Ted Cruz makes an appearance*

"Look at Ted Cruz... vampire." - Sue

"Fat f**k." - Sue

Sue facetimes me for the second time... I answer the phone and before I can say anything, she shows me the TV screen. Trump is on the screen.

"Dumb f**k's on," she says.

Sue is the hero we need, but not the hero we deserve.
