Yeah, I seriously had a photoshoot with a concert ticket. And I'm not ashamed about it.

I woke up to an alarming email saying that my Shakira concert ticket would be delivered today. UPS said that someone has to physically receive the tickets when they are delivered and this is a problem because Wednesdays are the day in which I spend the majority of my time out of the house. I freaked out a little and tried to make a UPS account to change the delivery date but that was a mess... por suerte Clarisa told me she would be home most of the day and could get the ticket for me. It finally arrived at 4:30pm, just minutes before she had to leave. Qué suerte!!!!! I am so excited to see this woman and her honest hips shaking it on stage.

I went to class and we had to do a super informal presentation with our groups and it was obvious that literally no one prepared for it. I love that sense of unity with your fellow classmates. Where you just look around and everyone is equally as... oh crapppp as you. However, it actually went very well and the class was fun and went by fast.

The roof of my house + the view on a sunny day!

I went to El Tostado for lunch and I worked for the next 1.5 hours there. Julie and I were going to meet up and she eventually texted me asking if I was there. Turns out we were both sitting in the basement level and neither one of us had seen the other. How wild.

We walked to class together and then suffered through 3 hours of class. Okay I'm being dramatic (when am I not?) but class did seem to drag on today. Selena was really out there using all 3 hours to teach us... the audacity.

On my way home, I bought 3 alfajores. 2 for Clarisa, 1 for me. It was almost 2 for me and 1 for Clarisa but I thought maybe I should try being generous. She wasn't home when I arrived so I left them on the kitchen table with a little note. I proceeded to be a productive human being and complete an assignment. I realized that I've been saving way too much homework for Sunday-Wednesday, so I'm trying to be proactive. We'll see how long it lasts.

The filter is so cool! It lists all the barrios in Buenos Aires! Can you find Palermo??

Clarisa was very very grateful for the alfajores and luckily she loves the brand I bought. I had no idea which to get so classic me just bought the cheapest ones. She informed me that she bought me some sweets and that I can eat them whenever. Bless this angel of a woman. Cenamos (we ate dinner) - yummy pasta and salad - and had a nice conversation about a bunch of random things. She told me that my Spanish is really really good and that I speak very well and I was so flattered! If only her affirmation of my abilities exempted me from having to write final papers...

Now I'm just going to organize my homework / day for tomorrow and then do a brief workout. Today was a solid 10/10 day all around. It was productive, lots of good little things happened, and the weather was nice. Plus I realized that my international student ID card gives me a ton of benefits and I can't wait to start using them! Hope you all had a good day as well.

Song Recommendation of the Day: "Reflections" by The Neighbourhood

***3 song recommendations in a row from them... I must be going through a phase or something... JK their music is just really good and I recently discovered this relatively new album (thank you, Adam). Please give it a listen.

P.S. - My mom fell off her bike a few days ago and hurt her arm BUT did NOT hurt her head because she was wearing a helmet!!! Be careful if you choose not to wear one! And also I am so grateful that she is okay :)
