And I still be asking how to say things in Spanish.

Today was quite a long day, as my Wednesdays typically are. But I feel like I used my time well and had a good day overall! I'm definitely looking forward to not setting an alarm for tomorrow morning.
There was a veeeeeery loud storm last night and it was easy to fall asleep to the sound of the rain coming down on our glass roof. (If my roof is made of glass does that mean I shouldn't throw stones? I wasn't planning on it anyway, but just wondering.) Cute story from last night is that Clarisa and I were standing in the kitchen talking and there was a flash of lightning and a MASSIVE strike of thunder immediately after and I think I squealed and I definitely jumped because I was soooo startled and Clarisa gave me a hug and it was precious. When we went to our rooms, she let me know she was here if I was scared and needed her <3 She's no Sue but she sure is a good substitute mama.
So today I had my journalism class and I know I say this every week but today was literally the chillest it's been. I love this profe and my classmates. Loli is in this class and she's one of my best friends here. After class, we went to El Tostado together and met up with Julie for lunch. Loli BALLED OUT. May this meal R.I.P. in her stomach.

Chilling at Plaza Lavalle was so fun. Loli cracks me up when she speaks English because she usually only uses it to swear. She's a big fan of the F word and she told me that all her friends love to say stuff like, "Bye, bitch!" Today she texted me, "Sorry not sorry bitch," and I laughed out loud. I'm so happy the two of us are friends!
It was so sunny I could not keep my eyes open!!! Sadly we eventually had to go to class so Julie and I said chau to Loli and walked over. This class was low-key as ever and thankfully didn't go by toooo slow. Sure didn't go by fast though, I'll tell ya that much.
Julie and I had decided to go to MALBA (Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires) and our friend Duncan tagged along. The museum is free for students on Wednesday... yeet sauce! I can't even try to pretend like I enjoy art though. I truly do not understand its purpose and I do not understand how half of that crap is considered art.
Well, I should clarify that I'm talking about those paintings where it's like one blue square and it's called, "The Depth of Our Conscience" or some dumb BS like that. Anyone can paint a blue square!! What the heck!!
However, MALBA had very few of these works of ~art~. Most of it was pretty cool and it was very very cool to see some real, original works that I studied in one of my classes. For example the photo above on the right. Don't ask me to interpret it though...
I really enjoyed the politicized pieces because they actually possessed a message and purpose, beyond just "look at me." I did get yelled at for touching one of the exhibits but I only did it cuz I didn't think there were any employees watching. Lol I have a habit of getting scolded here. Whatever... #noragrets.
Julie and I walked home from the museum and when I arrived home I was struck with fatigue. Clarisa told me she was tired too so we had a very chill and pleasant dinner and that was that. Now here I am wasting time as I tend to do every night. I will probably continue to do so for a while and then eventually shut mis ojos. Paz out.
