Mirror selfie!!!

I slept quite well and was *jolted* awake by none other than the neighbors' dogs. Can already tell this will not be an uncommon occurrence... but lots of people use roosters to wake themselves up, right? So it's not that different.
I took my time in the morning and it was nice to not feel rushed. I chugged lots of water cuz Dr. Oz says that's good for you and I did a homework assignment. Then I ate breakfast and it was yum yum.

I went for my run and was astounded by all the new places I will be able to run in. I didn't take any photos but there was this expansive green park with cool statues and dirt paths within it and many other paths nearby to run in. I'm looking forward to that! Some woman gave me a look cuz she didn't like the way I was dressed and she literally did a double-take at me with disgust and shock on her face. I stared at her the entire time and I hope it made her really uncomfortable. I don't give a rat's ass what you think, woman.
I worked out and showered after my run and then facetimed Kat to plan some trips. We decided we will go to La Plata next Saturday and we booked our bus tickets and an Airbnb for another trip to la provincia de Córdoba!!! We are soooo excited. The roundtrip travel and the Airbnb are only $52 total!!! We'll have to spend money on food and transportation but that won't be too bad. I feel much better now that I finally have some travel plans set in stone. Planning was so stressful but it felt great to have it done. Shoutout to my parents for all the vacations and trips they've taken us on because now I see how much work and planning it requires.

Since my call with Kat, I've mostly just being doing work. I facetimed a friend and made myself pasta as well. Today wasn't really as productive as I had expected, but it's okay because I organized lots of things for the future that I don't need to worry about now. Ooh I also was asked to partake in an interview about my experience abroad as a foreign-exchange student so I will be doing that on Friday! Watch it on CBS News! Just kidding it'll probably never be published anywhere.
Here is the living room of my house... I figured it was time to show it. You can't quite absorb all the hippie / eclectic vibes it gives off but you at least have an idea of what it looks like. The coolest part is the string lights that are always glowing or flickering or pulsing. Swipe right below to see how cool they look at night.
I will most likely eat dinner soon, and then I am going out to a bar with Loli! After the bar, I am going to my Argentine friend's brother's apartment with Kat, Julie, and Hayley to continue festejando.

Something that I realized today - which is very important - is that it is essential to think before you speak. I used to think this meant you bite your tongue for 10 seconds and then respond, but sometimes it means literally sleeping on an issue or waiting all day to address it, until you are in a calm state and have been able to process it. I was upset about some things earlier today, and instead of reacting aggressively and creating tension, I collected myself, did not send any messages or say anything potentially damaging, and focused on other things. Now I feel better about the issue, in fact I've completely moved past it, and I was able to handle it in a way that completely avoided drama. If you'd like to send me a golden sticker for my show of maturity, my address is:
