Yeah so someone in my class said that today ^^

Ok dude whatever.

I slept in for an embarrassing amount of time today and then ate some yummy breakfast. Clarisa bought me granola so I cut up a banana, mixed it with granola, and added some type of berry jam. I forgot to wash my breakfast dishes though, I can't believe I did that!!! #neveragain

I then walked to Le Pain Quotidien (which apparently we have in the US???) and met up with Julie to work on our final essay. I have no shame in admitting that I ordered my quinoa burger upon arriving, meaning I ate lunch about one hour after breakfast. I'm creative like that.

We then walked to the subte and headed to class. We arrived super early so we printed out all of our readings for the semester at a fotocopiadora and it was only 90 pesos for all of it!! Yeet sauce. We then had about 15 minutes to spare so we sat (well Julie sat and I sun bathed) on a bench outside of the building. People were giving me looks for laying out like that but I was serving looks so... they're welcome. Like you're welcome. But they're welcome. For the view.

Class was very interesting. We had a guest speaker who spoke to us about salud, género, y la intervención del estado en estos asuntos. The conversation was easier to follow than usual and more engaging. Then there was that moment where that guy told us his humble opinion about not recognizing the trans community. The guest speaker essentially responded by saying we don't care what you think. Love a good tense moment in class like that.

I subwayed home and saw this poster on the walk home. I leave it here for my vegan brothers and to say I was shocked to see it in Argentina. Do you understand how much meat we eat here???

When I got home, I got in bed (naturally) and did some little tasks. Kat and I made preliminary travel plans and I'm excited for those. We ate dinner a little bit later and it was DELICIOUS. She made pastel de papa (look it up cuz I can only offer a poor description) and ooh baby. Good stuff.

After dindin, I worked out and burned off 1/86th of what I ate today. Great! Now I am going to go to bed cuz I have to run early in the morning mañana. Buenas noches, chiques.
