Today was #busy. Lots of sight-seeing, lots of meeting new people, and LOTS of walking.

Talk about using all 24 hours in a day... Kat and I fortunately located our bus rather easily, boarded it, and our journey to Córdoba began. Here I am chilling in my big spacious bus seat / eating a Maroc bar at the Córdoba terminal at about 6:30am just outside of a shop called Food 666. Lol.
We walked from the terminal to our Airbnb - super easy and close - and boy is this place dope. Our host was so helpful and kind and the house is located in a perfect central location. We napped for about 1.5 hours and then headed to the city center... 1 block away!
The center plaza has soooo many cool buildings around it - mostly churches - and lots of walkways filled with cute shops and very cheap ice cream. Booyah baby. We ate breakfast (but really lunch) which was a big ole pizza and some bread.
We then checked out the church pictured in the bottom left and the inside was just as incredible as the outside. How do people paint on ceilings??? Seems dangerous.
We passed by 2 men and they go, "Ustedes no son de acá!" (You guys aren't from here!) and it was such a funny thing to say... like dang, you caught us! We're foreign! They were so funny and we talked to them for a while and they gave us some advice on where to go.
Kat and I stopped at the Airbnb real quick and then headed out for Parque Sarmiento. The walk to get there was about 30 minutes and it was very cool because we got to see even more parts of the city. Kat stopped at a health shop to get an apple and by the strangest of coincidences, we discovered that the guy working there is from the same small town as Loli and he knows her!!! Small mundo.
We settled down in Parque Sarmiento and Kat began to do homework while I went on a run. On the run, I discovered somewhat of a lookout with an awesome view of the city. I also ran past lakes, big open parks, and lots of tempting food trucks. Neat stuff.
After my run, we walked to the meeting place for a free walking tour, which was about 15 minutes away. We are #blessed with such a nice location of our Airbnb because it makes so many parts of the city accessible.
The walking tour was amazing. It was just Kat and I, one Irish guy, and two British girls. The tour lasted about 3 hours and it was nice to have such a small group because we all got to know each other throughout it. Plus the tour guide was pretty cool. Jose was his name. Thanks, Jose.
This lookout (above left) and this church (above right) were 2 of the coolest parts of the tour. The church was just absolutely breathtaking and the symbolism within the architecture was very cool. The ferris wheel-looking thing that isn't a ferris wheel was also very scenic and offered a cool view of the city.
When the tour ended, we all went to a bar / restaurant together and that was super fun. We spent 2 hours talking about all the funny things we each say and sharing travel experiences. They're going to Oktoberfest tomorrow, too, so hopefully we see them!

The British girls said the most ironically and stereotypically British things sometimes. "F**king hell" was pretty common and so was "I reckon." The Irish guy said "lads" in reference to males and I thought that was funny, too.
At one point, one of the British girls said she needed to "use the lou" and I asked if she was joking hahaha. Turns out, they really do call it the "lou."
One of the more interesting things I learned is that it's a big insult in Ireland to tell someone: "You're worse than crumbs in the bed!"
We walked home around 10:00pm and the neighborhood is super safe and also very cool to see at night. We walked through the Jesuit block and the lit up churches looked... lit.
We are both pooped now and headed to bed because we are waking up EARLY for Oktoberfest. Goodnight one, goodnight all.

Song Recommendation of the Day: "Outside" by Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding
P.S. - I also learned another funny expression they use in Ireland... text me if you want to know it ;)
