Today was not super eventful, but it was a good day overall.

It rained all day long and that put a damper on the day. I walked to the lavadero to drop off my laundry shortly after waking up and was disappointed to find out that it was closed. Luckily it is only 2 blocks away so I wasn't too soaked by the rain.

I ate a nice breakfast and then started to work on an assignment due tomorrow. I had lots of trouble focusing so I took a nap. I facetimed my mama when I woke up and I also spoke on the phone with Mel, which was nice. Then I finally forced myself to sit and get the assignment done and it wasn't too bad!

I was going to run with Cassie when she got back from class but she wasn't feeling it because of the weather (I don't blame her) so I ended up running alone. I got back from my run at 3:00pm and I still had to eat lunch before class at 4:00pm... yikes.

I heated up some lentils and poured tomato sauce over them and that meal was devoid of almost all flavor. I put some peanut butter and jam on a slice of bread and ate that too then hustled to class.

This class always promises to be at least slightly boring and today was no different. But it was my favorite class of the ones we've had so far! We had a woman visit and speak to us about the Protección integral de los niños, niñas, y adolescentes which is basically a law in Argentina devoted to protecting people under the age of 18. It argues that they need special protection due to their status as young people and that they deserve the same rights as adults. Pretty swag if you ask me.

I worked out and showered when I got home from class and then we ate a fairly early dinner. Clarisa called me down at 8:57pm to be exact. At dinner, she asked me what "wanderlust" means and I had no idea how to explain this Tumblr sensation to her. Tried my best though. Clarisa told me, "I thought of you today," and then handed me a little candy bar. How sweet! Literally ;)

I'd like to give a shoutout to my girl Loli for getting a 10 on her English presentation the other day. My idol.

Now I am going to work on the final paper for my UBA class until I go to sleep. I walked into class today and Julie asked me, "Did you work on the paper today??" Jeez naw fam I didn't but don't doubt me.

Goodnight, babuschkas.
