A 6 hour car ride doesn't sound like fun, but if Loli's dad is in the car, you'll wish it was even longer than 6 hours! (Not really, but he made it fun.)

We woke up nice and early, ate some breakfast, and hit the road. Loli and I were both asleep for the first half, but we came back to life when we stopped at a gas station half way. I was shocked that gas stations here are actually so nice! The bathroom was incredibly clean and I ate a veggie wrap which was delicious.
With some food in our systems, we were able to stay awake for the next 3 hours of the ride and it was oh so entertaining. We spoke in English almost the entire time because Loli's dad speaks very well and he wanted to practice. I decided to take the opportunity to teach them slang and, of course, swear words.
I taught them text abbreviations like BTW, TBH, and LMAO and then I quizzed them on it. It was so funny. Loli's dad asked me if, when I was younger and my family went on road trips, we all sang in the car while we were driving. He said it's what all the American families do in the movies. Lololol I let him know that was not very realistic.
I also taught them the words "swag" and "gucci" and then he kept trying to add "swag" to every sentence and I really appreciated that. When I blew my nose at one point, he said, "The little trombone," because of the noise it made and that was hilarious. He also said, "Come on little car," when the car in front of us was going too slow in the left lane. His hilarious commentary made the ~6 hour ride go by so fast and it was very enjoyable for a road trip.
It's kind of crazy to think I might never see him again, but I'm pretty sure their family is going to visit Chicago... fingers crossed!
We arrived at my house in Buenos Aires at 2:47pm, I briefly caught up with Clarisa, unpacked my bags, and then took a nap. And just like yesterday, I was out cold. I went to my 5:00pm class and was very pleased that it lasted 17 minutes and then was over. The profe handed us back our exams and gave a cute little speech and that was that! So I am done with 1 out of 4 classes, woo hoo!!!!!!

Julie and I went to a cafe after class to work on our final paper... which didn't exactly end up happening... but we reviewed what we have so far and our plan moving forward. We are about 1/4 of the way done with the paper, woot woot. Having to write this paper for which I've lost most interest is kind of hanging over me like a dark cloud but it'll feel SO nice to have it done.
When I got home, I rested for a bit and then ran with Cassie when she got back from class, right around 8:00pm. The run was nice and there was a surprisingly large number of people out exercising where we were. I think some kind of running club meets at night at Rosedal because there were literally hundreds of people.
I ate dinner with Clarisa after my run and we told each other about our weekends. It was a pretty quick dinner and I worked out in my room and then showered after. I've been wasting so much time watching videos and just doing stupid crap because I don't feel very motivated tonight. It's okay. We all need some me time and I just really need it right now.
Goodnight homies.
