Today was a great day all around... I made strides in oh so many ways.

Despite having gone to bed at 11:00pm last night, I was still dead tired when my alarm went off at 9:00am. I decided to sleep until 10:00am, which didn't help as much as I thought it would, but it was time to get up. I might also add that I woke up empapada (drenched) in sweat and I have no idea why. Maybe it was the sickness trying to escape my body...
I got to work on my midterm and started the final reading for it. When I couldn't hold off my hunger anymore, I ate some oatmeal for breakfast but again didn't have much of an appetite. So I ate and got back to work. Shortly after, Loli and I began working on buying our bus tickets to La Pampa. This was a bit more stressful than it needed to be but I am SO happy to have bought them and to be going to her house!!! I can't wait to see another part of Argentina and to be with her kind parents again!
I facetimed Randi just after 1:00pm and last night's makeup was still looking fresh on her sexi face. It was good to catch up with my equally pessimistic friend and give her the juicy scoop. She had to kill a rat today (rip Alfredo) so give her some space... it was tough for her.

Around 2:00pm I went for a run. It was much much harder than it should have been because I'm still not fully healthy but I'm happy to be running again! When I got home, I lifted and showered. And I saw this little guy when I walked into our front patio area!
I had about one hour to kill before class and I used it to eat lunch (leftover mac 'n cheese and an apple with peanut butter) and to finish the reading. I didn't actually read the 2 assignments we were supposed to have read for class but it was okay because nobody read one of them and the profe just briefly summarized the other.
At the end of class, just the foreign exchange students stayed and she gave us individual feedback on our exams. She asked who wanted to go first and boi you know I did. She gave me all positive feedback and that made me happy! It also gave me the confidence to just get the rest of it done tonight and turn it in... so I did! I came home, got straight to it, took a little break to eat dinner with Clarisa, and then finished it and submitted it shortly after.
Dinner was great as usual. We had a lovely conversation, especially when we talked about mi papí. That's right, Fat Mike, you. All good things though, don't worry. And we talked about you too, mom, and the fact that you thought the Spanish word for "orange" was "orangelo" HAHAHAHAHA.
I'm not really tired but I have no work to do so I might watch a show or something! What a nice feeling it is to be able to relax after a productive day. I also was able to move past some stuff from my past that I had been hanging on to for way too long... if you know, you know ;)
So today was overall incredibly productive and positive! Looking forward to tomorrow.

P.S. - On my walk home from the subway I saw the funniest light sight. Two little girls, maybe 10 years old, were joking around with each other... one was in a car, sticking her butt out the window and shaking it and the other girl, standing in the street, turned her butt to the car and did the same movement. Such a pure moment to witness. Sometimes kids can be cute.
P.P.S. - I forgot to mention that when we ordered the fried Oreos the other day, the worker said to us, "It's like diabetes. It's like eating the disease." I thought that was pretty funny.
