I woke up feeling like absolute crap, but luckily I felt better (enough) to attend Loli's birthday party like I had planned on doing!

First of all, sorry for the extreme tardiness of this post. I slept at Loli's house last night so I wasn't able to put up a post, and I just got home.

So I woke up feeling like trash, had a low grade fever, and couldn't run. The good news is that I was forced to work on my midterm and I finished a question!! Around 12:00pm, Cassie and I walked to a nearby event we had signed up for and ate some food that we kind of regret eating but not really. Fried Oreos and mac n' cheese! The event was called "Flocktoberfest" and it was like a mini Oktoberfest with German food options. Also the people who worked behind the counter were from Atlanta and Washington, D.C. - so random! I told one of them his English was very good and he said, "Gurl, I'm from Atlanta!"

We then walked to our respective homes and napped. It was un día feo, cold and rainy so we didn't feel like being outside much. I felt better after eating but when I woke up from my nap I felt 10x worse. I did not want to take the day off running though so I attempted to run 3 miles with Cassie.... POOR DECISION. I felt like I was going to throw up each time we took a break and I was only able to survive for 2 miles. Oh well, at least I tried.

We had planned to go to this festival about healthy eating or something like that because it was in the path of our run, but because I felt so sick, and neither of us brought cash anyway, we blew it off.

From 6-9pm I laid in bed just trying to recuperate. I watched the movie To All The Boys I've Loved Before and it was pretty good... it was so hyped up though that it didn't meet my expectations. Just after 9:00pm, Cassie and I went to the grocery store to buy some very random things and I bought my dinner... 6 strawberries. I really had no appetite all day.

Responsible women purchasing sustenance.

I felt well enough to go to Loli's birthday celebration and I am SO happy I did because it was an incredible time and her amigas were so friendly with me as usual. I was not at all expecting to go to a boliche afterwards, but the pre-party was so so fun that I decided to go.

I was also so happy that Cassie came and could meet Loli! The night was perfect! We took an Uber to the boliche (the kind sir let us fit 5 girls in the car instead of 4), and then stayed out a bit too late dancing there. So worth it though. I normally don't like going out to the clubs but this time was so much fun and now I see why the Argentines do it so much! It's a lot more divertido with friends, that's for sure!

The club was kinda fancy af but very cheap to get into to! Although I will be recovering all day Sunday because of the hour (which will not be named) that I went to bed, I am so happy with how the night turned out, and happy that my sickness didn't stop me from having fun!
