He was walking not 1, not 2, not 3, but 14 dogs.

Rise and shine, wake and bake baby. My alarm luckily beat out the neighbor's dogs this fine morning and I woke at 7:50am sweating for no reason at all. Always a lovely feeling to wake up in a slightly damp shirt. Anyways, I did the usual routine - drank agua, did some Achilles stretches, and ate breakfast. For the first time, I packed a lunch to take with me! (Last night's amazing leftovers.) I'm excited to start packing all my lunches / making more nutritious lunches. One bowl of undercooked pasta wasn't quite cutting it for me...
On my walk to the subte, I passed by a paseador de perros (dog-walker) walking 14 dogs. They normally walk about 8 to 10 at a time, but this was just absurd. Now there's a manz who knows how to command some #respek.
Today was our last day doing presentations on radio in my journalism class (thank god honestly) and it went pretty well. The teacher called me out for reading too much and not being natural enough and to be fair I was reading legitimately word for word what I said out loud lolol but that's what happens when you do your homework at 11 at night and are too lazy to practice and memorize it! The profe is still a homie though, love her.

After class, I helped Loli with a presentation she has to do in English, bought some peanut butter in a dietética, and then I bought an apple for 10 pesos and sat in the park to eat it. I threw the core in the grass and some manz gave me a look and I was like it's called compost, bro, back off.
I then walked to IFSA and had about an hour and a half to kill before class. My plan was to do a reading for class but guess what?? I didn't fricking do it- HA! I honestly can't recall what I did during this time but surely it was something that I convinced myself was productive enough.
Class dragged today but it was easy on the brain so that's good. When it let out, I bought 10 alfajores (hahah yeah, 10) but I am giving 9 of them as gifts. It's incredible, the philanthropy I'm doing out here in Argentina.

I took the subway home with Duncan, a kid on my program. He's one of those people who speaks sparsely but always says something funny when he does speak. Kind of like me, except I talk a lot.
Adam and I had planned to talk tonight about our plans for when he visits and wouldn't you know it, this call lasted 2 pleasant hours. But we finally booked our flights to Bariloche!! Woo woo!!
I'm quite fortunate because although my midterm is going to take a lot of effort and time to get done, I have barely any homework in my other 3 classes this week. I feel like some special power has been looking over me here in the Southern Hemisphere because I keep lucking out with things like that... I'm very grateful!!
My parents were actually in Buenos Aires almost the entire day but I sadly could not see them because of my loaded class schedule on Wednesdays. But I'm happy to say they got to the airport on time and are currently 36,000ft in the air traveling 415mph somewhere just over the border of Chile and the South Pacific Ocean (and yeah I have 3 tabs up tracking that thang). I hope my papi enjoys these photos of a chubby bulldog I saw when he lands!
I ate dinner with Clarisa which was nice because we haven't fine-dined just the 2 of us in a while. We laughed a lot during dinner and that was a nice feeling. My plan for the rest of the night is to do a workout, write some little notes to people, and stay swaggy as usual.
May you all stay swaggy, too.
