Today was a pretty active and full day! And my last day with maw and paw :(

Peep my cute parents holding hands.

I woke up NOT by choice at 8:00am to the neighbor's dogs barking loudly as ever... for an hour straight. So I took my time getting out of bed and then went for a run. It was already super hot out but I'm glad that today was another sunny and warm day.

At 10:30am, my parents came over and we walked to the supermercado so that my mom could help me make healthy choices lol. We got some beans and other stuff but mostly beans and then walked to the movie theater to see El Potro. Oh, and on the way, some manz was handing out free samples of cake / pastries so we each had one!!!

Is it legal to post photos of the movie? I don't know, probably not. But here you go. We were the only people in the theater... I had to pee so bad they should've just paused the movie for me honestly. Also, when we bought the tickets, the lady said to me (in Spanish), "You know it's in Spanish, right?" Oh, really???? I thought we were in France!

Anyway, the movie was pretty good and then we walked to the subte and took it to a barrio in the southeast of the city called San Telmo. We stopped to get lunch at a little restaurant and it was delicious. The waiter messed up the order a teeny-tiny bit and it was no big deal but he gave us such a huge discount!!!! We all ate tacos and agreed they were very very tasty.

There's a big market in San Telmo with tons of stuff to see and a street fair outside but a lot of it was closed today... maybe cuz it's a Tuesday and that's a random day that no one really likes. I dropped my parents off at the market (but not before taste-tasting a LOT of dulce de leche) and then headed to class.

This class usually feels like the 3 longest hours of my fricking life but today it was actually pretty interesting so yay for that! I went home, dropped my things off, and then walked to dinner with my parents. We got to the restaurant at 7:57pm, just in time to find out it closes at 8:00pm. Incredible. I shed a few tears - and that's not even a joke. But luckily everything worked out because we went to a different restaurant and the food was excellent and I probably would have never gone there otherwise! Also the ambience was very cool. We sat in an eclectic room with a bunch of different lamps, decorations, fabrics, etc.

We walked back home after dinner and said our goodbyes. (Reminds me of The Bachelor when Chris Harrison says, "Fellas, if you did not receive a rose tonight, please, say your goodbyes.") So yeah, we hugged and stuff like that and said bye bye because I will not be able to see my parents before they leave tomorrow night :(

I am so appreciative of their visit and the fact that they both took off work to come and see me and Argentina. Espero que hayan disfrutado de su viaje!

Song Recommendation of the Day: "El Clavo" by Prince Royce ft. Maluma (Remix)

P.S. - A taxi driver asked my parents if they have been to Argentina before and my dad said, "No, es mi primavera viaje." He meant to say it's his first trip but he said it's his spring trip. Lol. Technically it is spring here so I guess he wasn't that far off.
