Today was another swell day and it was surprisingly calm and unproblematic despite the numerous places I had to be / the things I had to do.

At 9:30am, I had to go to La oficina de residencia to start my application process for a visa. I was running soooo late but bless up because the subway was randomly empty and I got on right away AND the turnstyle was broken so I got on for free. Saved 40 cents hell yeah baby. Weird thing about this morning though... I swear EVERYONE I walked past on the way to the subway stared at me for longer than usual. I either looked really fricking sexy or really foreign, but I think we already know which it was ;)

This shockingly took only 10 minutes total, so I walked to Plaza Lavalle after (pictured above) to sit in the sun and read an assignment. I then walked to my kinesiology appointment at 11:00am and had a good time there as usual. There was a random protest on a super busy street, Corrientes, and I honestly had no idea what they were marching for but I hope they get what they want I guess?? As long as it's good?? Notice the excessive amount of police following the march looking way too violent and serious.

I then had 3 hours to kill until my next meeting so I read for class and got lunch during this time. I bought 4 empanadas for $1.86 total and I tried the calabaza (pumpkin) one for the first time and it was güüüüd :) I also bought mantequilla de maní (peanut butter) because I had been looking for it for so long and I can use it in a lot of easy recipes with avena (oats). The meeting with my academic advisor was quick and easy and Griselda's got a lot of swag so that was fun.

After the meeting, I had 1.5 hours until class so I met up with Julie who was already posted up in the corner of a cafe. I was hoping the barista people wouldn't notice that I just walked in and didn't order anything and they sure as heck didn't so it was great to mooch off their free WiFi. But here's the best part... this disgusting couple that had been sitting next to us and stroking one another's faces (PDA is SUPER común here) left the cafe and ALSO left behind a whopping amount of their dessert. And if you think I was gonna let that free food go straight to the garbage you're absolutely wrong. Julie made sure the coast was clear and I snatched it and kindly prevented food waste because I love the environment. Please see evidence below.

You may be thinking, "That's gross," and you're not wrong, but you should also be thinking, "That's free," and "Wow that looks good," and, "How convenient that the girl had used her spoon to eat it instead of biting into it so that Julia could avoid her germs."

Julie and I then walked the 2 minute walk to class and shockingly both agreed that class was pretty engaging today. I also participated twice and for some reason I get SO nervous once I start speaking in that class because there's 3 Argentine women in the class that are all like over 25 years old and I get worried they will #judge me but they're actually so nice. I felt my face get HAWT and probably red when I was speaking but I think I actually said something accurate and useful lol so now the teacher knows I do the readings heh heh heh swag.

When I got home at 8:30pm, I worked out and then ate dinner with Laura. Pobrecita está enferma (poor gal is sick) so I told her to go to bed and I'll do all the dishes so that is what happened. She was telling me she thinks she has a fever but then she asked me if she should drink her nightly glass of wine and I said how could she not? But she later asked me to pour her a glass of agua gaseosa (sparkling water), which is super common here, and I refused because I told her that's bad for her stomach. She knew I was right so she pretended to pout for 0.5 seconds and then she was like ~u right dawg~

I refuse to do any tarea tonight so I am going to post this and then go to bed. Okay honestly I'm going to post this, watch some food videos, and then go to bed. Wishing you all swag.
