Today was a pretty typical Sunday for me... homework, laying around, eating some comida, forgetting to get out of bed and go outside oops.

Alright so this womanz is insane cuz she assigned us over 400 pages to read for homework and that's just not happening. But I did spend the majority of the day reading for that class so I can at least have some idea what we talk about in class.

I started the day by walking Kat to the door, unlocking and re-locking the 7 locks to enter and exit my house, saying bye, and then going back to sleep HARD for 2 more hours. Resurrected at 12:00pm and ate ~breakfast~ while I facetimed Garnet. Good ole Garnie B always giving me the tea. I spent the next few hours reading and tracking the Davidson women's soccer game until ~lunch~ at 4:30pm. I then facetimed Claire who was for some reason walking around on the golf course. If any of you find her wandering around looking lost, please return her to B304, thanks.

I went on my first and only excursion of the day to the park and to the grocery store. It was so nice out (66 degrees) and the Sunday feria was happening so the park was absolutely packed. There was a band playing, a skatepark contest going on, a ton of people sitting in groups sipping mate, and tons of little kids playing soccer. I awkwardly walked up to the workout equipment and did my 20 inverted row reps and left lolol.

I walked to COTO, the grocery store, to look for some snacks to eat since the time periods between meals here are so long. I'm both ashamed and not ashamed to admit that I left the store with a stack of knock-off Oreos and a pack of 36 vanilla sugar stick dessert things. Not my healthiest or most financially responsible decision but what's a gal to do when they don't sell big packs of pretzels here?? You'll notice the "Dale" cookie

wrapper is already opened in the pic and that's absolutely because I ate all of them on my 5 minute walk home. The grocery store is lowkey lit because they blast Shakira from the electronics section and all of the sudden it's like I'm back at F again on a Friday night. Haha sike it's nothing like that. But it's cool.

Anyway, I continued to read once I was home until I literally could not keep my eyes open. My readings are all on my computer cuz I don't want to pay to print them and it can killllll my eyes sometimes. So then I took a THICC nap and woke up in another dimension when my host mom said dinner was ready.

She made ravioli ravioli dame la formuoli and it was sooooo good today for some reason. Swipe to the second photo below to see how *steamy* the ravioli was. Our house is always freezing since we don't have calefacción central (central heating), so any cooked food always steams for like 5 minutes cuz of the temperature difference. Ok there was your science lesson for the day.

Funny story from dinner: my host mom gave me jugo de durazno to drink and I asked her what durazno meant and she basically said uhhh I don't know, it's durazno, it's a fruit. Turns out it means "peach," but I just think it's funny because every time I ask my host mom what a certain word means, she always just uses the word to explain what it is. She never tries to give context clues or anything so I just end up looking it up. This womanz is really out here doing the least, but you gotta respect her for it. Ooh we also watched The Mentalist in Spanish during dinner... or as it's known here: El mentalista.

After dinner, I worked out in my room, organized some things for my busy day tomorrow, listened to some early 2010's rap, and now I'm going to bed somewhat early even though I have about 200 pages to read for class tomorrow. Wow I've changed I'm such a rebel.
