August 24, 2018: I haven't been outside today.

All I did today was read and eat. And pee a few times.

I slept in, read, ate breakfast, read, ate lunch, read, ate dinner, and read. That is literally all I've done today. I'm fine with it because that was my plan. It was cold and pouring rain all day so my options were limited anyway. Oh, also, my hair straightener broke. 2012-2018 rip.

I'm pretty impressed with myself for the meal I prepared for lunch. In addition to pasta, I made "scrambled eggs" in a mug and added broccoli and onions and it tasted pretty good! Ooh also, my host mom gave me a little treat so it was nice to eat that while I read. (See right.)

Tonight I'm going to my French friend's apartment for a pregame. There will be French, German, and Argentine people there... and only 3 estadounidenses (Americans)! I met the French girl in one of my classes and it's hilarious to hear her speak Spanish because she does it with a French accent. Looking forward to hearing that tonight.

Although up until now today has been pretty uneventful, I will say that melting dulce de leche and dipping a banana in it was incredibly thrilling. And it was nice to finish an entire subject of homework. Well, I guess I should get out of bed since my friend will be here in 15 minutes and I'm still wearing last night's pajamas...
