I'm not not proud of where I fell asleep today.

Like yesterday, I was a zombie again today. Rolled out of bed at 7:30am, ate breakfast, and huuuuustled to the subway. I sat through my 9:00am-1:00pm class and that is hands down the most tired I've ever been in a class. I kept blinking really slowly to try to keep my eyes closed as much as I could lol. It was definitely apparent that I was falling asleep... which was awkward cuz I rode the elevator down from class with just my professor and our guest speaker. Cozy times.

I ate lunch on the go (pizza) and I finished it when I was about halfway to my next destination. So I stopped in Plaza Lavalle, laid down on a cement bench, and fell soundly asleep for 1 hour and 24 minutes with the pizza box on my stomach. Slept through both alarms I set and only woke up to the sound of a man yelling. Thank you for your screams, sir. They got me to class on time. So I walked the rest of the way to my second class, which was from 3-6pm, and knowing I would get ice cream halfway through class was my only consolation.

This ice cream RESURRECTED me. I survived the last hour of class and then Julie and I went to the meeting place for a tango event we signed up for. We didn't really have any idea what we signed up for (just signed up cuz it was free $$$$$) but turns out we got tickets to what is essentially the world cup of tango.... wutttttttttt it was siiiiiick. We watched 20 pairs of dancers, mostly from Argentina and a few from Colombia, Russia, Paraguay, and Italy, and then there was a musical performance after. This manz was going OFF on his harmonica. I've never seen a harmonica player sweat so much. Actually, I've never even seen a harmonic player. But respect. If you're curious, one of the Russian teams won. If you're still curious, I guessed 4 of the top 5 finishers correctly.

The only downside to this show was that I was famished and incredibly tired throughout it. We took the subway home when it was over and the ~10 minute walk from the subway station to mi casa at 10:30pm was probably not the safest decision I've made. There was literally no one on the streets. But clearly I made it home safely... Or did I? You don't know who's writing this blog. Just kidding, only I would say something that stupid. I have to wake up early again tomorrow so goodnight kin.

Song Recommendation of the Day: "Patético" by Osvaldo Pugliese (just so you can experience what I sat through for 3 hours)
