I finally fell asleep at 5:30am, slept for 2 hours, ate breakfast, mourned the loss of my soul, and got on the subway to head to my kinesiology appointment.

The subways here are PACKED during the rush hours in the morning and late afternoon. You can't really tell in this photo, but I'm so squished my backpack is pressing into my ribs (I wear it in front to prevent theft). My kinesiology appointment was great cuz my Achilles felt good and because I had a really interesting conversation with Juan, the kinesiologist. We talked about the two massive oleadas (waves) of immigration that came to Argentina and it was way more interesting than a history lesson would've been. I asked Juan if my facial features look Argentinian / if people saw me on the street would they think I'm from here and he laughed and said uhhh no. So far people have guessed that I'm from France, Australia, and Brazil. Lol yeah I'm Gisele Bündchen's sister. Juan also put this cool tape on my Achilles so that was fun.

Then I went to the IFSA office to get various tasks done - residence forms, medical fee reimbursements, etc. - and that was nice and made me feel productive. I walked to get lunch from a pagar por peso place and got gnocchi, chicken, and really good sautéed broccoli + veggies. I brought lunch back to the office and continued getting stuff done / did one school assignment. I then put my coat over my head and napped for 25 minutes because I felt dead as fuhhhh the whole day. I walked 25 minutes to class and the 2 professors showed up just to tell us that they are still on strike and won't teach until the government pays them enough. They then proceeded to teach for 2 more hours... I'm kind of worried cuz if this class is cancelled I won't have enough credits... hopefully the wacked up government pulls through. Here are some cool sights I saw today walking from place to place.

After class, I was sooooooooo tired that I came home, ate dinner right away at 8pm (the earliest we've eaten so far), got my work done right away, and got in bed. The only reason I'm still awake at midnight is because I couldn't not facetime my bff Claire. She's currently struggling to figure out how to wear a pair of pants... I hope she figures it out. I also briefly facetimed Garnet which was a joy and a half.

I am so brain dead right now but here are some fun notes from today:

-I was eating my host mom's cheeseburgers and she asked me if they were good and we eat her cheeseburgers at least twice a week and she asks me every single time if they are good so I said to her that she already knows the answer and she said, in Spanish, "Of course, you like them. My cheeseburgers are amazing! They have carne, they have oats, they have onion, they have everything." Go off, Laura. **Pic below**

-I love texting Ashley, one of the freshmen on the track team, cuz she keeps me up to date on the team juice and talking to her reminds me of my first days of freshman year which is crazy to think about.

-I always wash the dishes right after I eat and today I washed mine and Laura's dinner dishes and she thinks it's cuz I'm kind and helpful but it's really because the house is freezing and the sink water is really hot so doing the dishes keeps me warm.

Please enjoy the sticker on this car and let your haters be your motivators.
