Today was what you would call an incredibly not ideal day.

I will briefly summarize the pile of crap that was today, and then I will show you lots of cool photos cuz the sights I saw today are a lot better than the bullcrap I dealt with (:

First thing I did was watch a video for a class assignment in which a man killed another man, slowly and bloodily. Great. After getting parts of my life together, I walked to a hospital to get my Achilles tendon checked out. In Argentina, you typically go straight to the emergency room which is slightly hilarious cuz this wasn't an emergency at all but that's just how it works. I was very proud of myself because I found the hospital, made the appointment, paid, and was able to communicate effectively in Spanish with the hospital staff! The doctor recommended that I see a kinesiologo which basically just means a man or woman who will massage the nice sack of liquid in my heel lol. So I went to my program's office to fill out some forms for reimbursement and then headed to my second appoint with the heel-massager. That appointment consisted of the doctor telling me to be flojo flojo (loose loose) while I relaxed my muscles and he VIOLENTLY cracked various parts of my body. If people who crack their fingers disturb you, never go to see this man. The funniest part was when he hand me stand up with my hands behind my head and he told me to relax, slapped my cheek lightly to distract me, and then cracked my neck like I've never heard anything crack before. I'm gucci though. After popping those vertebrae, I had to pay of course and turns out he only accepts ca$h. Well HAHA jokes on me cuz I didn't have enough. So now I need to go to some type of ATM or money transaction place and secure a nice wad of 6,000 pesos. Oh well. I came home and ate dinner - a LOT of dinner - and now I'm gonna read. Here are some more photos I took today throughout my long walks to doctors' offices.

An area with lots of unique buildings, like the Teatro Colón.

There's a ton of graffiti everywhere. Here's a cool wall full of it.

Speaking of graffiti, there is some in this image that says "No me baño." I see this phrase graffitied all over the city and I have no idea what it means, but its translation is: "I don't shower" hahaha.

A cool street corner.

My lunch. The sandwich had chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and cheese. And just you wait to see what was inside the donut...

DULCE DE LECHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the process of crossing one of the world's widest intersections!

Here I am leaving my program's office looking put-together and not frazzled whatsoever.

Where the man cracked my vertebrae.

A pretty alley.
